Moral

Do what you think is right and fight for what you believe in, even if there will be consequences.

This moral is demonstrated several times in the book. For example, Katniss goes into the forest in district 12, even though it is forbidden, to hunt for and provide food for her mother and sister daily. She could be severely punished for doing this, but the will to take care of her family keeps her going.
Also, in the arena, she believed that Peeta and she should both live. Katniss risks punishment by the Capitol to save who she cares about.
